Milky Way Over Flagstaff
Uploaded: January 19, 2011
Took this literally on the side of the highway south of Flagstaff. Passing cars illuminated the evergreens for me, quite helpful! I think that's Andromeda in the top center of the sky.

Thanks all!!Hey Ruth, I printed both images on my 13x19 printer and they looked like dog food. At a small size on the web they look fine, but one blown up they were terrible. SO, I went back to the RAW and reprocessed the other image with printing in mind (deeper blacks, noise reduction, etc), and the print came out VERY nice. So I'm going to apply the same techniques to this image and see how it fares. If it comes out good, want me to roll it up into a mailer tube and send it your way? ;-) #9180406
