A Mystical Place

Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany
Taken on Kodachrome with a Canon EOS 630 in the summer of 1993. I recently scanned this slide into digital format.
I climbed up this hill only to be disappointed with the low clouds/fog. I had no idea where the castle was. But then a 30 second break in the clouds allowed me to get off two shots. This is the better of the two.

This is one of the best images I have seen of Neuschwanstein Castle, Chuck. The photo fairy seems to be with you always. #1812477April McPherson June 18, 2007 0
Amazing picture! It almost seems like it was taken from an airplane. What hill did you hike up to get this high? It is a beautiful picture. Great job. #4408373Chuck Inglefield June 18, 2007 0
Thanks April. I don't remember the hill exactly, but know that I was able to look down on both castles and the lake in the distance from this vantage point. I remember it being a bit of a slippery hike on a mildly worn trail.Chuck #4409335
