Man on Stairs in B&W

Uploaded: November 22, 2010

Description

ISO200, Cloudy, Av-f/16, 1/10s, +1/2ev, Canon 24-105mm lens at 40mm @@ This was taken inside the Apple store in the Chelsea neighborhood of NYC. I liked the glass and chrome stairs, then this gentleman happened to wander into the frame, so I waited until he was close to the upper right rule of third point to take the shot. I converted to b&w in Aperture to give it a classic old-timey feel - we had been to the Robert Mann gallery earlier in the day.

Exif: F Number: 16, Exposure Bias Value: 0.50, ExposureTime: 1/10 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 200, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 40.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XSi

Perfect placement of the stairs Jeffrey. I also like the small degree of blur to the man 'cause it adds a real sense of movement to the image. Beautifully executed. #1329709
