Fall break

Description

I set up a new document to match the size of some left-over graduation envelopes that I had. Photos are of my daughter at college on her 2nd week and the friends she misses terribly. I had a scrapbooking CD and used some of those bright papers for backgrounds. Kits with backgrounds and graphics/doodles can be found online. Search "digital scrapbook."

My 1st layer was black/white design.

2nd layer was purple dotted (I selected one end with the rectangular marquee tool and used the bucket tool to paint it a darker purple [to frame the text.])

3rd layer is the multicolored paper place at an angle.

4th layer is a small corner of zebra stripes.

5th layer is a lightly patterned border.

6th layer is the grad girls' photo with a border that I added before placing on this document (select-all; select-modify-border-30 pixels; brush tool- choose color- 40% opacity; paint it then deselect); rotate and moved photo then erased overlapping corners using rectang. ma
