Find Out Who They Are And Why They Come Here.

* * * * *

AGT 99 here. Alias Your Tour Guide Miss Alberta Rose. From Here On Out, on tis tour, I will be known as "99". Get your pencils and pads out folks. Stay attached to the ORANGE CAR threads, if you wish to crack the case with me.

INITIAL NOTES: [Agent 99 writes] I have been observing this couple the entire trip and I saw them drive up to and go into the county records dept.. They left the page open in a book they seemed excited over, scribbling notes. They left in a rush and left the page open under the letter "P".

This is your first clue to who they are. Write that down.

Here re the "P" words that were on that page. Nothing was circled. Maybe you can tell by this list what it what word or words they were excited to find.

Most of them will mean nothing to us.

************
Paper Bags
Paperback Novels
Pencils
Petroleum
Poker Game
Police
Pomegranates
Popcorn
Potato Sacks
Pumps
Pumpkins
Pumas Stones

These are your clues for today

Talk amongst yourselves. See what you guys come up with so far. #1323216

(I have no clue (pun intended) what you are talking about in your clues above! :) ) #9009305

Patti Coblentz November 01, 2010

Potato Sacks! :) #9009333

Laura E. Swan level-classic November 01, 2010

Lol...You guys are funny. (Mumj and Kalena)

Okayyyyy...You do remember that there was the ORANGE CAR put on the train in the beginning of the series. Right? (Right!)

THEN WE WENT INTO THEIR ROOM on the TRAIN and saw that ALL of their belongings are ORANGE! Right? (Right!)

AND THIS PAST WEEK WE HAVE SEEN THEM driving around town now. Right? (Right).

So you are now on the SPY TOUR to find out who they are and why they are here!
(LIKE A GOOD NANCY DREW BOOK!)

SO................

Look at the list above. One or more of those words have something to do with THE MYSTERY COUPLE. JUST GUESS. I will not tell you any answers right now.

There will be 2 or 3 more days of clues THEN the answer will be revieled after some guessing.

The WHO's and WHY's

Patti, good girl. You think Potatoes have something to do with it. I am not saying YES. I am just saying GOOD FOR YOU! YOU READ THE LIST and made a guess!

LOVE, Agent 99. #9009351

Nancyj E. Hovey level-classic November 01, 2010

OK, above you say everything the couple has is orange, so my guess is to circle pumpkins...it is orange!

OH, maybe someone stole their pumpkins!?

Patti Coblentz November 01, 2010

They're burglars, like Bonnie and Clyde...hence the need for potato sacks. #9009379

Tammy Espino November 01, 2010

Loved reading your comments.

Keep up the good figuring. Have fun looking the list over. More than one thing might apply. :)

No more hints will be given today. Just have a good look at that list. You guys might already be on the right track. And let's stop along the way to get TAMMERS a SNACK-E-POO! :))) #9009438

Ellen Hodges November 01, 2010

Think the couple is Leif and Kiki and the P word is photo? #9009448

Ron McEwan November 01, 2010

I would say police, they are private eyes. Maybe they are looking for pumpkins that were stolen. #9009450

Laura E. Swan level-classic November 01, 2010

Ellen....PHOTO isn't on the list! HA! (Lol!!!)

Kirsten Kiki Kjaer November 01, 2010

They're outlaws (I believe I said that before) and gamblers driving around from state to state and they need Paper Bags for their groceries, Paperback Novels and Popcorn to kill time while hiding from the Police in their car hidden behind road signs. Pencils to keep scores of the Poker Game. Pumps - they need gas for their car - or does it run on Petroleum? Pomegranates - well who doesn't like those. Potato Sacks of course - where else are they gonna hide all the money they win. Pumpkins - could also be used for hiding their money. And then THEY would go in the sacks.Makes sense - since it IS Halloween month. No Police would suspect! Pumas Stones? What the h... are they? Now THAT could be the mystery.
Other than that - did I crack the case, MSSS99? #9009600

Kirsten Kiki Kjaer November 01, 2010

BTW! Awesome image! You really caught all the shining details and the colors are out-of-this-world fabulous.

This is a PUMICE STONE!

----> pumice stone Pictures, Images and Photos

I spelled it wrong on my list! HA! (Are we surprised???)

It's used on feet to ex-foliate callouses.

Graham Robards November 02, 2010

I don't know, I only know the couple wanted to play a game of Poker.

They weren't real humans though, they were ghosts, the webcam tried to take a photo and all they got were bones.

I took this from the film to show you Agent 99. http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r14/marsbar_photos/halloweentwopeople.jpg

Stephen Zacker November 02, 2010

Fantastic old car. Like that color #9009814

Lorna Shutter November 02, 2010

Hmmm ... maybe they are escaped convicts and they were looking up the name of the Officer who had arrested them and put them in jail! You know, so that they could get REVENGE! So my guess is "Police". Ha! Ha! (That wouldn't explain why everything is orange though ... So probably the word IS "Pumpkin"! LOL! :D) Awesome capture of their car, by the way! :) #9010014

Annette Carr November 02, 2010

Hello and good morning everyone :)
I believe they found petroleum jelly and need the pumps to extract the jelly. What else could be in the country records?
Who are they? That's what I want to know LOL! #9010085

Nancyj E. Hovey level-classic November 02, 2010

OH dear, my head is still a thither, deary.... off to do my house work...
Have a great day!

Pumice Stones are made to throw at windows if you are a bad guy... easier admittance to a closed building... mmm or maybe to sharpen files and knives with when you don't have the right tools. ok, I am off here! 8o) #9010233

Kirsten Kiki Kjaer November 02, 2010

I think you're on to something, Lorna. I'm sure they ARE hiding from the police. And they may have been trying to find a particular department or officer - heyyyyyy - maybe the mountie!!!!! He's been around a lot, hasn't he?
So if they're hiding from him and they don't know he's a ghost, they're in for a surprise, aren't they. Or maybe THEY are ghosts too, like Sherlock Hound says, in which case they'll ALL be surprised.
This is better than 'SOAP', isn't it.
And BTW - I figured out why they're driving and orange car: So they could hide among the Pumpkins! HAHAHA!

John Connolly November 02, 2010
