Great Blue Heron
Uploaded: October 27, 2010
I climbed down a bank to photograph the Little River in the Smoky Mountains and after a few minutes I turned around and saw this Blue Heron perched on a rock behind me. I don't know how long he was there, but he stayed there about ten minutes, giving me plenty of time to photograph him before he flew off.

You lucky dog. LOL Great capture and I love the colors you were able to capture in the water. #1321942Ken Smith October 30, 2010
I'm with Darren...lucky you! It's not a locale you'd expect a heron to be in...I like the colors in this too! #9005536Gail Vitikacs October 31, 2010
