Wow, incredible photograph ... love the shadow effect ... you have a lot of other equally great photographs in your gallery! If you don't mind me asking, did the shot come out this way or did you use a editing program? I use them sometimes myself ... either way, this is great! #304111

Thank you, Jacqueline, for your comment. I shot this shot directly into the sun for the purpose of creating a silhouette. So this shot is almost exactly as I took it.
I shoot my work in RAW format so that I can adjust the exposure and the white balance before development. I sometimes adjust the exposure and saturation levels in Photoshop if more is needed but usually very little.
Sometimes I develop two exposures of the same RAW file, one for the sky and another for the foreground. (Not so in this case.)
Outside of that, there was no editing done to any of my photos except for some small amounts of cloning out dust spots and a few times when I cloned out some unwanted weeds or plants in a photo.
