Merry Be *FRAN*!

My heartiest Aussie congratz for your POTD.
I spotted this ultra fine Nature study in the WEYG Club's gallery and feel it is the very best example of the correct use of the macro lens' shallow depth of field I have seen so far.
It's all about the point of view and the point of focus and you have nailed both perfectly here to render a high quality fly shot where the acceptable focus on the fly fades off well enough to achieve a 'natural' look.
The lighting, exposure and colours are excellent and the composition works so well with that point of view.
I hope this photograph does well for you.
