Breaking Through

Uploaded: August 17, 2010

Description

This was shot from behind the windshield of our car on our way back to Canberra from our trip to Pebbley beach in New South Wales, Australia. Much of the drive back was under dense clouds, however, just before setting, the sun peeked through the thin opening slit made by the clouds above and the land below in the distant horizon!
The hawk pair and the lens flare were added later in post processing.

This is really beautiful, Usman! I love the tree and the birds' silhouettes againmst the sunset sky. Well done! #8900416
