Crosing Over

Uploaded: August 09, 2010

Description

A view of the sweeping curves of the Smithfield Bridge crossing over the Monongahela River to downtown Pittsburgh.

I had the good fortune to photograph this scene and the city of Pittsburgh this weekend in the excellent company of Mitch Spence and Dave Phalen.
We were additionally blessed with the most wonderful guide in Mary Beth Aiello,
Thanks so much everyone.

Love your wide-angle comp Bill! Such a great sweep to get the viewer into the cityscape!! While watching our Little League team from Pearland (just south of Houston)play last night I wondered if you were there watching or umping? :0) #8856663

Thanks all.
Murry, I'm watching this year
I have umpired on those fields, but not in a World Series.
Maybe one day!
Good luck to the Texas team. #8857441
