With a little humor and pooch patriotism, here is our salute to Independence Day. I thank everyone out there who's ancestors fought in the American Revolution! Our freedoms came from the soldiers who were willing to fight as eleven of my revolutionary ancestors did!

It is the Soldier, not the reporter
Who has given us freedom of the press.
