Ship Abstract, Port of Tampa, FL

Uploaded: July 17, 2005

Description

not recorded, scanned slide, 28-80mm lens, port of tampa, fl. late in the afternoon. this is a shot of a large ship tied to the dock. I thought this shot was interesting with the diagonal rope lines in the upper third, the black portion of the ship in the bottom third as well as the vertical line on the left third created by water run off from a whole above. the lighting was warm as well.

I like this alot, Kate, but I think it might be more powerful without the black on the bottom. Just three directions - two horizontal, one vertical. I love that water stain. You have a great eye for lines. #404866
