I sure don't know if he is the fawns dad. There are several bucks around.
He let me get out of the car and approach, just watched me. Notice the velvet on it's antlers.

Nice catch Dick May want to keep an eye out for this one as the year wears on. Looks as if he's developing an ODD SET of ANTLERS.
The stranger the rack the more interesting the capture.
