Photo taken @ our cottage.
Does anyone know what kind of duck this is? She reminds me of Woody Woodpecker. LOL
When I posted this on Facebook, someone thought it was a Hooded Marganzer.
God love the Mother Duck as she had 14 little ones.

What a wonderful image and I bet you really enjoyed seeing those beautiful birds.

Looks like a merganser to me too, Roxanne (I know this only because a couple of photographer friends from Florida have photos of them -- never saw one in person)! Neat family portrait, but one offspring at a time was about as much as I could handle! ;-) #8713852
