This is an exquisite and gorgeous floral image, Bunny. Tack sharp where it has to be brilliantly executed. #1272991Bunny Snow May 28, 2010
That's my quest, Michelle, to create sharper images. Thank you for your comments. #8648750Katarina Mansson May 28, 2010
Beautiful diagonal composition and extraordinary lovely light! #8648803Graham Robards May 28, 2010
Lovely diagonal Bunny, sharp as sharp, you are right though, I tighly cropped into a beautiful image and lost the pixels. (sigh). Makes such a difference. Love the Exif!~Pat #8648819

Cropped it may be but the presentation is perfect and it's still beautifully detailed, Bunny. Lovely image. #8649135Bunny Snow May 28, 2010
I didn't crop in Photoshop, it was cropped in the camera. What I did in Photoshop, was added background with the patch, clone, and healing brush. Then, selected the flowers and certain stems so that the background would go soft with the Alienskin Bokeh plug-in. In the camera, I had used a higher aperture for capture, which added to its perceived sharpness.I am SO HAPPY that you all like this image, because I am working so hard to improve my composition and darkroom work following your suggestions.
On my computer, the texture in the image looked wire-sharp, it glistened. I don't know if you can see this in the smaller, online version.
Thank you, Katta, Pat, Nikki, and Joy for your wonderful comments --they mean so much to me. #8649211

I have to agree with you, Usman, I'm glad I extended canvas and background to the top of the image and then patched, cloned, blended with the healing brush the extended area. It was a lot of work, but it does look better.Thank you, so much for your comments.
I'm learning from you and everyone at PG-101. Happy Theme Day!

Thank you, Karen. It is simple beauty, as I don't have a bunch of DD techniques or plug-ins up my sleeve. I appreciate your comments. #8655055Daniella Puente May 31, 2010
Is so wonderful Bunny, delicate, with great sharpness and clarity! #8655730Bunny Snow May 31, 2010
What a lovely compliment, Daniella. This is greatly appreciated. Thank you. All things seemed to go the way they should with this image. I wish all were that way. The flower was even in the diagonal position without any manipulation from me. It was love at first site. :-)Corinne M. Thompson May 31, 2010
