Thanks so much Cathy, Carla, Kerby, Karen, Jenny, Stephanie & Gene. Your comments are especially appreciated, because this was my first time using a tripod! Carla, I used my Canon 50-200mm lens zoomed to 200mm and shot it at 5.6. I also used PSE2.....quick fix, brightness/contrast/focus. I read somewhere on BP (I think it may have been a comment in Tony Sweet's book) that flower shots can be more powerful by cropping closeup and cropping more than just the tips of the flower, so I tried that. Once again, thank you BP for this very helpful site. I really feel my work has improved and my photo horizons opened and brightened by this wonderful community and what you all have to offer! #1576853Claudia Romero July 10, 2005
