Moody Winery
Uploaded: May 15, 2010
We took a cruise with the old cars to the Moody Winery, in Madera, Ca. I re-arranged the glasses that were on the bar into a straight line and also got a reflection in the marble counter top. I used the D-700 Nikon camera and the Nikkor 24-120mm lens.

Hi John: I was pretty lucky to get what I got. These glasses are sitting on a granite counter which has a spotted appearance. I did turn them toward an opened door hoping for as much light as I could get. As always, I really appreciate your perspective. Thanks again, for all your involvement in the club. Merna, you are welcome. Take my suggestions as just that, Sometimes I just wonder if something would lokke better if done a certainway. It does not mean there is anything wrong with the shot. #8616391Merna L. Nobile May 16, 2010

Merna, That is why I joined: to enjoy the friendships started, to get feedback on my photos and to examint others work. I find that by critiquing others work, if done honestly and kindly,my photography gets better. Much of my growth over the last year or so has been from MasterPiece Membership here on BP. so glad I found BP. Happy shooing BTW I just posted 2 more skinky shots in the response to my original. Check them out when you can. #8621789Merna L. Nobile May 19, 2010
Hi John: I had already noticed. I think that it is a great idea to put the before and after photos up so that you can really see the difference. If you have the time, maybe you could tell the members how to do this and we can get a better idea of what has been done and how it has been accomplished. Thanks for all you do! Merna, Unfortunately, I did not save the image as a PSD with all the layers so I do not remember exactly what I did. I need to be better at either writing down what I did or saving the layers/PSD so I can adjust or recall what I did. I know the basic set up as I described then I believe I played with the image in polar co-ordinates and blur motion till I got what I liked. May have done something else too. LOL Sorry....... #8621825Christine Lobsinger May 19, 2010
