Vishuddha: The Throat Chakra

Vishuddha (also Vishuddhi) may be understood as relating to communication and growth through expression. This chakra is paralleled to the thyroid, a gland that is also in the throat and which produces thyroid hormone, responsible for growth and maturation. Symbolised by a lotus with sixteen petals. Vishudda is characterized by the colour light or pale blue, or turquoise. It governs such issues as self-expression and communication, as discussed above. Physically, Vishuddha governs communication, emotionally it governs independence, mentally it governs fluent thought, and spiritually, it governs a sense of security.[33]

Ann...you aren't expected to get this being from NZ! I'm feeling silly tonight and did some big plays on words.
Maybe it's because I grew up so close to Berkeley California!!! :D Can't help myself with the esoteric stuff once in a while.
Do you know how to google things? If so Google "Chakra Websters" and see what comes up in the dictionary. :)Pretty deep stuff!
This image was named after the Chakra where the throat is located. Singing tied in there with my joke so then secondly Chaka Khan (My play on words) is an American Singer in the youtube.
I hope I didn't make you more confused!!! It's 2:30 am here in 5 minutes. That's part of the answer, too. :D

It's that darned "healing" tool in PSE7. I've discovered it will trail things that I didn't intent them to. Somehow they picked up the eyes in the neck area and well...Never mind.
