I had a wonderful day & captured some memorable shots with my niece and her daughter just before Christmas. They moved to Oregon the 1st of June and I'm missing them. Thank Goodness for archives :-)!
You all gave me strong, positive feedback on this image...I'm happy. I guess the stain on her right shoe isn't as noticeable as I was thinking. I love what I captured here but there was that little doubt that the judges might consider that distracting.

OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS!!
I am sooo loving this. The colors here are my cup of tea! The polka dots really bring alot of attention to this photo, along with those red glittery shoes* Awesome shoe portrait! My head is spinning with ideas now!!!
I also love the pov, and the shadow play in this. Isn't it the greatest thing to capture the "Magical" moment in a child!! Thanks for making this photo do just that for me, bringing a little magic to my day!!

Hi Jane!

This is real nice! I like the sense of action and gaiety captured by your composition.

The placement of the childs lower body in the upper right of the frame focusing on the childs legs and feet and Her dancing shadow are perfect.

I think this one is going to end up with one of those medalions! (smile)

Hi Norm! Thank you for the compliment :-) ! My niece, Dinah, was having a great time, balloon in hand and dancing around, excited that we were about to go to the movies after peeking at the Christmas Tree that was on display in a Market Square.
