Take the Psycho Nikon Nut Lady, for example. She gets to the park early in the morning, when the ground is still wet from the morning dew. Lucky for her, The Best Stump is right next to the sidewalk, so she has a (relatively) dry place to throw down her towel and set up for shooting the fuzzbutts.

Unlucky for her, The Best Stump is not MY favorite place. I like this stump much better. In fact, I like just about ANY place except The Best Stump. That means the PNNL has to roll around in the mud if she wants an up-close-and-personal shot of me, Pretty Faux. Celebrity-stalking paparazzi don’t KNOW hardship until they’ve spent half an hour crawling around on their arthritic knees in the dark mud of a coastal Carolina bog.

In other words, don’t wear your best pedal pushers (or cargo shorts, for you fella faux-to takers) when you’re out and about. You never know when your knees will end up.

Yeah, she’s a crazy one, that PNNL. But I think it’s kind of cute the way she loves me so much.
