Description

Squishing around the edges of a cypress swamp, trying to get to the water hemlock, and saw these future black swallowtails.

The lighting was horrible and the footing was slick (and no tripod). This was one of the few images I could salvage!

I actually shot this in July. Alas, I generally get 2-4 hours of shooting a week, weather-contingent. After hanging out with the fuzzbutts a while, I get about 30 minutes to shoot something other than a squirrel...so I often have to dig through old files! #8071292
