A gorgeous basket of eggs indeed. I sometimes don't stop and really look at all the details in nature. We see brown or white or blue, etc. In really looking at these eggs there are so many subtle tones and then your lighting adds another dimension along with the shadows. Love the whole composition and presentation. Simple in some ways, but oh so much to take in. I love the wire basket that looks like its setting in a stainless steel bowl or pan behind it. The eggs sure do make one want to crack some open and enjou. Love the mix of brown and white eggs, the textures of the shells stand out so incredibly, such gorgeous work my friend.

Hi! Patricia; thanks for stopping by my gallery. This is one terrific still life and congrats is in order too. I remember when you posted this. I had memories of when I was a kid growing up on the family farm here in MO. Mom's job was taking care of the chickens, the money from the eggs sold from over 300 chickens is what kept us alive. We also had a lot of shirts made from feed sacks. Did not know what a store bought shirt was until I was a teenager. #9417177
