Description

Yes, the moon is real! I took this east of Scottsdale back in November 2009. The sky just seemed to light up, so I immediately pulled over and braced my arms on my car door.

100mm Macro lens used, hand-held, no filters.

Love the color in the sky on this! I was fortunate enough to be sent to a conference in Tucson about 5 years ago; I was quite surprised how much I liked the area and landscape, being an east coast native. I was only a few weeks into photography on my first camera back then--my favorite photo was of some cactus silhouetted against a sunrise sky; it pales in comparison to your capture. Would love to get back sometime! #9344944

Another fantastic capture! I've taken some similar to this with different shades of color in the sky. Can't beat an Arizona sunset! #9344971
