Beautiful shot Ron - very peaceful and serene! I love exploring the woods where there isn't a lot of foot traffic. Nice composition, colors and water!

Thank you for the great comments. I wasn't sure how this would turn out. It was pretty dark and I didn't have my tripod with me. It's kind of dark, but that's what it really looked like there, so I guess it's ok.
I think Gary should invite us all to stay at his house so we can take shots like this out in his back yard! #35328

Ron, I don't think my house is big enough! I live at the base of a very vertical mountain and it rains here most of the summer. The forest looks very much like this. I'm posting a photo with this comment so you can see the similarities. The photo was taken a little ways up the mountain, but still on my property. It's not as large a stream as the one you shot, but I think you'll be able to see why I made the comment :-) This photo doesn't have any ferns in it, but they actually grow thick all over the mountain side. #35369
