ok this was hand held and with my small cannon on firwork setting. I am going to upload two more the one with the people jim took I thought it was a fun on with the people in it. I know Pete will like that one. but he had his ISO up high and I can't get anymore of the noise out of. but like I said cool shot. #1285143Debbie E. Payne July 05, 2010
Rita -- Good for you, going out to shoot fireworks! Our trees in the neighborhood are growing up so much that we don't have the views that we used to have and weren't in to fighting the crowds last night at either the Air Force Academy or Memorial Park. Although I like the first two, it is the one with the silhouettes of the people that is by far, more interesting for me! I'd just clone out the pole coming up from the bottom of the frame and about 1/3 in from the left. #8735592Aimee C. Eisaman July 05, 2010
Great job on the fireworks shots. Great color and a nice black sky. I can't wait to get a chance to try fireworks! Seriously I love the one with the people in it....esp. how some have their camera phones up...like they could get a good shot of fireworks with those! LOL Agree with Debbie on where to clone for it! :~) #8735783Dale Hardin July 05, 2010
Thanks for sharing the 4th with us Rita. We didn't get to see any last night as Betty was under the weather and we didn't go out.Love Jim's shot. a huge story there and the phones really pinpoint the era and the new technology as well as adding to the story. #8736130

I agree that these are all good and Jim's is got the one for the most interesting. I shoot from my bedroom window at home so we don't have to deal the crowds, but this one may inspire me to go out and try it again. Nice work on them all. #8736293Rita K. Connell July 06, 2010
thanks everyone I agree the people one is awesome. we got separate in our large group this was both of our views if I had went lower I would have had fence. but next year I know what I will be looking for. #8737341Ellen H. Robertson July 07, 2010

Definitely love the one with the people Rita..I think one of the best spins I have seen on a fireworks image..have you considered entering it giving credit to Jim? #8741099Rita K. Connell July 07, 2010
not sure how to do that? cause I would really like to enter it. he told me to enter it as mine but I really want him to get credit it such a cool picture.would I do by the title and not putting my watermark on it. #8741177
Anthony L. Mancuso July 07, 2010
You could change the watermark to your name and/or make a note in the description.. #8741329Jeff E Jensen July 09, 2010
