October or December Seasonal Colors ?

Uploaded: October 08, 2012 19:38:21

Description

A red maple bough hangs down with the weight of heavy wet snow on the slowly turning red and green leaves. I was waiting for the leaves to turn bright red,but on Oct. 3,2012 we got the heavy wet snow and freezing temps at night, so the leaves won't be turning bright red. Here it's October and Mother Nature is already getting ready for Christmas.

Adjusted in PSE7.

Photographed in Medora, North Dakota on 10-3-2012 at 12:36 p.m.
