Nice macro, Debbie. You'll get hammered at the Canon forum if you call it a D10--it is a 10D. My suggestion is to try every thing and make sure it all works immediately in case there is a problem and you have to exchange it. Try looking at www.dpreview.com for the Canon SLR forum. Most of the discussions center around equipment and not photography and some of the discussions are garbage but some are very helpful. #105777

Oh I wish, I wish. Good colour with this one. Just wish it was a tad sharper though - just IMO. #105836

Thanks for the advice Murry, and I'll make sure not to call it by the wrong name again! lol...I will also check out the site. The camera came with a 30 day money back guarantee...so I'm keeping everything wrapped up (except the camera) just in case there's a problem. Have you heard about people having problems with the 10D?

Leanne, thank you for the comments and constructive criticism. It's always appreciated!

Shirley, you are always so kind, what can I say...thank you! ;>) #106011

Debbie, the main complaint over at DPReview seems to be problems with front and/or back focusing when using the AF. It's hard to tell if this is just a few (since they are so vocal) or if it's a real QC problem. Lots of folks just rave at how great the 10D is and post photos to prove it. The photos over there are not nearly as good as the ones posted at BP though as far as photographic skills. Hopefully you got a good copy and all will be fine. I'd just make sure to try everything while you can still exchange it. #106014
