This has an interesting green glow to it Ali - what settings did you use to get this shot, and was it dusk, twilight or pitch black out? Were there lights on the glowing tree?

Thank Cathy. I had the camera setup on a tripod and used 'B' (BULB) w/ a shutter release cable (the camera is a Ricoh...completely manual except for light meter). As for apereture...I cant remember. I just sort of "guess-timated" the exposure...I had not taken a night shot in several years. I do remember that it was a very cold day outside, cloudy, windy, my hands froze within seconds, and pretty much pitch black outside. There was a green light that illuminated the tree as part of the display. #35633

Thank you for sharing your technique with me Ali! I have seen so many different results with night photos on here, but I haven't tried any myself, because I was never sure of what settings to use. Thanks again!

With me its always hit or miss...i am not about techniques or settings and still learning the ropes!

Thanks for your kind words.
