Beautiful colors and composition and a great title. #1550337

Dale Hardin October 28, 2013

Thank you Mary. Loved your gallery. You live if a beautiful area (where is it?) and have documented it wonderfully. One of my favorites was "Autumn's Palette" #10882934

Linda and Jo Ann, thanks a bunch. Took this shot while on a graffiti shoot in LA, with my pal Robert Jensen. #10883094

Jeff E Jensen October 28, 2013

Excellent work, my friend! #10883380

Dale Hardin October 28, 2013

Thank you, Jeff and this is another good example of studium and punctum. Has everyone figured that one out yet? :O) #10883442

Michael Kelly level-classic October 28, 2013

Nightmare colors. If you had been drinking this might convince you to quit. Great shot Dale. Can't see how you could have captured this any better. Very well done. #10883490

Dale Hardin October 28, 2013

Thank you Mike. By the way, this is a composite. The scene was shot in LA and the man in Whittier three years earlier. #10883496

Debbie E. Payne October 28, 2013

Wow - I love it. The colors are great and as usual, your composite work always wows! #10883507

Debbra Bailey October 29, 2013

This is really cool Dale! I love the colors and composition, and the fact that you have to really look to see the gentleman! Nice! #10883769

Dale Hardin October 29, 2013

Thanks guys. Next time you are in the area we have to go down there. You'd love it. #10883801

Peter W. Marks October 29, 2013

I do like this Dale. With your title I am not sure whether we are thinking along the same lines but Aussies refer to an upchuck of beer, curry, burgers etc commonly found in the gutter outside the pub a few minutes after closing time. Nasty, nasty, nasty!

I did explain a day or two ago that I knew what "Studio and punctum" means and this is a fine example my friend. #10883919

Dale Hardin October 29, 2013

Thanks Peter. #10883965

Peter W. Marks October 29, 2013

Well, I spoiled that bit of humor. Should have said "Aussies refer to the effects of too many pints of beer as a 'rainbow yawn'. #10883989

Dale Hardin October 29, 2013

LOL! Yes, I agree, that is a bit funnier than nasty, nasty, nasty. :o) #10884068

Rita K. Connell level-classic October 30, 2013

great job Dale story well told. love colors I would never have known he wasn't there when you took the picture. #10884270

Dale Hardin October 30, 2013

Thanks Rita. That area would be great for a Phellos shoot. #10884339

Beth Spencer October 31, 2013

Really nice and bright colors!!! I was wondering if the man had posed for you, but now you have answered that! You did a great job of adding him in! Did you add him to a window or add the window and him!2 #10884955

Dale Hardin October 31, 2013

Thanks Beth. The man was shot one morning as he was sleeping on a park bench. The image of the graffito was my main shot and I then added the figure behind the window opening using a clipping mask. Even though I reduced the man's size a lot, I did not have to change the lighting on him. #10885091

Amazing composite Dale! I would never have guessed.

What about using a little perspective fixer in PSE?

Very creative and interesting! #10887864

Dale Hardin November 04, 2013

Thanks Elaine. Nice tip, might give that a try 'cause it's not far out and should be easy. #10890812
