Patricia, this is wonderful! The palm fronds peaking into the shadows make it really special. WINNER! Ding! ding! ding! #8080Patricia Marroquin August 23, 2002
Thanks, Piper. I have what I think is a little more dramatic shot of this, but the horizon is crooked. And I'm not sure how to correct that. If you know how to do that in Photoshop Elements, please let me know. #12282Piper Lehman August 23, 2002
The only way I know how to fix a horizon is to use the crop tool and turn at the corners. It's a good idea to do this before you crop down to your finished crop since you will lose some of the shot. You can always fill in the white areas afterward with your paintbrush if you don't want to crop so much. #12284Mike McCormick August 23, 2002

Really a nice shot. The palm fronds make the picture unique. #12373Patricia Marroquin August 25, 2002
Thanks very much Carol. Utilizing the previous tips on how to fix a crooked horizon, I'm going to be submitting another photo I took of this sunset through the palm fronds. #12388Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
