Shore View of Lake Louise

Description

Lake Louise is a gem sitting near the town named for it in the middle of Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada, in the Rocky Mountains. This photograph was taken behind the magnificent 550 room Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise hotel. The unique emerald hue of the lake is a result of the glacial melt streams that fill this spectacular mountain lake. [HDR processed using Photomatix Pro with additional post processing using Photoshop CS5]
