Yes I have a thing for Croc's & Gator's. If you look at our friend here you can see he's missing his right front foot. These animal have an amazing ability to survive horrific injuries of all types. Injuries that would certainly kill any warm blooded creature are just of no consequence to them. Shy of regenerating body parts they seem
able to heal w/o infection and just continue as if NOTHING has happened. If you ever get to any gatorland type exhibit, take a close look at some of the OLDER BIGGER inhabitants and note all the battle scars & body damage. Especially around the heads. Missing eyes and parts of jaws are very common. THEY ARE REAL SURVIVORS ...
