I took this in 2009. We were touring a charming small town, rich in history and unusual photo ops but it was this adorable kitten that captivated the kids I took to France that year.

Excellent composition, Nikki - simple but so effective. This works on so many levels - Val said it best - love how the various elements contrast and compliment each other: the soft fur, the textured cement and stone, the red frame against the black.
