Wow Ray what a Majestic image.I love the perfect color and DOF. I feel like I am there.. OH how I miss those cross-country trips. Where is this this beautiful pass. It looks like it may be hmn,Let me remember.Maybe,..,, its,..N.CENTRAL ARIZONA or Utah near Glen Canyon area. Maybe even Nevada or> I'll take a long shot and say Idaho. It has been so many years since those wonderful days of traveling through America. Please let me know if you can remember. Now I am real curious. I LOVE this picture! Lovely shot, Ray. The colours and textures are wonderful. They give a real 3-dimensional feel to the image. #17340Ray Charles October 12, 2002
Thank you Damian, and Gerda. Your comments are very up lifting.Hi Donna, I thank you for your kind words also.Oh yes you know your country, this was taken in Nevada, it's about 1 1/2 hours from Las Vegas, route 15 north to exit 48, then a 20 mile drive to the Valley of fires. I love this place, 110 degress with out shade, and not one ounce of sweat lost from my body. I will go back there very soon, I missed so many things, 4 days is not enough. Oh by the way, it only cost $940.00 FOR TWO. That included air fare, hotle,( Hilton )and a mid size car for 4 days. Maybe it's time you took a trip Donna. #17351
