Well spotted and executed superbly!
Great shot, Heather! #11979

Thank you Robert! I liked the contrast between the smooth water with raindrops against the water falling over the edge. Had rain and a dead sky all weekend up north trying to shoot fall colors. So I had to find subjects that didn't include the sky! I used an 80-200mm lense, 1/60 sec at F3.8. #20182

Wow, I've got to try some water shots..... #20207

Thank you Cathy and Damain.

Damain - water is one of the coolest things to shoot. The reflective properities alone make for endless opportunities. Not to mention the different textures moving water can provide!

Besides...that's what we have in abundance here in Michigan. WATER...not just the Great Lakes, but thousands of inland lakes, streams and rivers! #20213

I remember that well! I've got to try the moving water thing... Thanks for the inspiration! #20214

Very nice Heather. The first thing I noticed was what you mentioned--the contrast between the water with the raindrops, and the water cascading down the rocks. Great job! If I ever find any water I will have to try some water shots too. #20237
