Bethesda Fountain

Description

f/4.5 @ 1/60 sec., ISO: 200, Focal Length: 18 mm.

Rising above Bethesda Terrace in Central Park, the Fountain is a celebrity since it
has appeared in more movies than any other monument in the park.
The sculpture that tops it, Angel of Waters, was designed by Emma Stebbins in 1873
to celebrate the new Croton Aqueduct which supplied fresh water to a city
that had long been plagued by infectious diseases caused by an unsafe water supply.
This is a photo I took during the Better Photo Summit V.I.P. Shoot in Manhattan, New York on November 1, 2009.

Exif: F Number: 4.5, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/60 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 200, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 18.00 mm, Model: NIKON D300
