Description

Whether you arrive on Maui by sea or air you will end up in Kahului as both the airport and harbor are located here.
This cruise ship was docked at Pier One and although I have never taken a cruise and knew they were colossal sized ships, I had never really grasped the enormity of them. This was a close as we could get.
It was interesting to watch the parade of very large trucks going in and out of the gate. It takes a lot of manpower and goods to service a ship this size.

Great capture and composition of this magnificent ship Heather. I have been fortunate enough to have sailed on this ship three times around the Hawaiian Islands, the name of the ship is Pride of America and belongs to the Norwegian Cruise Line. #1442125

The only "cruise" I took was on a 50 person boat- but it had everything I needed. I am not one for typical cruises as I would get claustrophobic being stuck with all those people! #9973977

This one is particularly big and an excellent way to tour Hawaii. Ship cruising particularly is great since you see and get to places you otherwise won't be able to access if one tours by land. Great shot! #9975265
