Utah's classic Delicate Arch seemed to be a better fit as a B&W than color image for this composition. Taken in November, the setting sun doesn't light up the arch as is does with the higher sun, but the slight back-lighting created some rim light which I found attractive. I also liked the way the streaking clouds and highlighted mid-ground mimicked the striations in the sandstone. The snowy La Sals completed the shot. While not completely original, it's a difficult place to put
