Rough Riding

Because of the speed they achieve the distances these Kite Surfers cover in such a short time is amazing. Someone 1/2 mile off the beach can be on top of you in NO TIME AT ALL. Same is true when flying out over the breakers like this fellow. The boards they use vary a much as the different sizes of kites. This fellow is on a short regular looking surf board w/no foot grips of any type.
It's like Photography equipment the choices are nearly endless.

Regular surfers will sometimes drag their hands in the wave to slow down so they can get themselves deeper in the barrel... #9243611
