AWWWW! HOW ADORABLE!!! Awesome job on this Alisha!!!!!! #2890257Desiree Chapman June 13, 2006
I hope it's OK to ask this here..Alisha L. Ekstrom June 13, 2006
Thanks Laura...:)!!Desiree...Thanks for looking!;) With aperture and shutter speed they basically DO go hand in hand & are like a teeter totter..EXCEPT that isn't what I did here..LOL!! The room I was shooting in had VERY little light & so I brought down my SS to allow more light in & the reasoning for the more opening of my aperture is because the subjects aren't on the same plane. You have to be careful with aperture. If they aren't on the same plane & you have a wide aperture then the eyes/subjects won't all be in focus. When shooting moving subjects especially children a ss above 1/100 is BEST BUT I didn't want to go below F4 & so I had to compensate somewhere else to allow more light in! I THINK I raised my ISO to 400 on this image..BUT the higher ISO you go the more grain you will have as well! SOO therefore I 'TRY' not to go above ISO 200 if I can help it. I adjust ss & ap first before that! Hope this helps with your questioning! Glad I can inspire:) #2893089
