This was taken at the Nature Coast Botanical Gardens in Spring Hill, Florida yesterday.
I used my Tamron 28-300mm Lens with an open aperture, shot at 300mm for selective focus and maximum shallow DOF.
Entered into Flowers.

This is fabulous Melissa, you have captured so many amazing photos in the Botanical Gardens :) We are planning a family trip to Orlando next month and I've heard there is a flowers/plants exhibition in Epcot...so maybe I get luck and bring some good images! #8526703Ann H. Belus April 11, 2010

Love your focus on this, Melissa. It's a great example of how selective focusing can really bring the eyes to what you want them to see. Well done in so many ways. #8529033Gina Cormier April 14, 2010
