What an excellent photo! Of course, your composition is wonderful, but I also appreciate the colors your bring out in this shot. Great work! #271469

Thanks for your kind comment, Johnathan.
ISO 1600; f/5.6 at 1/15 sec; 28mm focal length (lens with Image Stabilizer). Taken from a cruise ship. I could not use a tripod because of vibration from the engine.

Thanks, David.

Yes, an Image Stabilizer can be very useful. And it's becoming more and more common in digital cameras with built-in lenses.

Spectacular image.Excellent detail and colors. #2555260

Thanks, Kara!

It would not be possible to get this photo from the shore. Fortunately, we were on a cruise ship parked in the harbor.

So, I was able to get a perspective that few others seem to have gotten.

Peter, excellent lighting, detail, colors and composition. #2582549

Thanks, Janine. I kind of wish there were a boat or something in the water. As it is, there seems to be a lot of empty space.

But yes, it was a beautiful scene.

Amazing night shot with excellent composition and dazzling colors!!! #2890951

Thanks, Melissa; it was definitely a benefit to have a lens with an Image Stabilizer.
