ship on water watercolor
Description: I got the idea for this one from one of your comments last time about using the ship in silhouete, so I tried it here (I didn't use the blending technique you suggested since I already had this one cut out as well). In this case, I used a heavy pastel brush with a large size for the water and sky and a small size for the boat. I really like how the background came out (and I think it looks more like a watercolor than anything else). The boat didn't fair so well, but it isn't terrible.
