This is stunning in black and white, Nikki. I've taken scenes before where there was not much color in them and they may have well been in black and white.

But, this goes beyond the black and white. The tonality, the hominess, and the composition of the scene really works. It's a winner in my eyes!

Beautiful scene and this works so well in b/w Nikki.
Here er are in Denmark, the middle of March, and we still have a lot of snow around. In fact it snowed just a couple of days ago once more. We are really tired of it, but it does give some good photo opportunities.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments, everyone. This was almost a drive-by -- I had been out shooting on a VERY cold day, my husband was driving and I was hopping in and out of the car trying to keep my hands and fingers warm enough to shoot with, and we were on our way home when we saw this scene. I was done! and it was he who said, "Want to shoot this one?" So I got out and took a few.
