Open Sea

Uploaded: February 21, 2010

Description

And Oregon coast sunset taken at Tseridan State Park near the Port Orford Heads. The sea stack toward the left is Klooqueh Rock (Google Earth Coordinates: 42.708433, -124.52861) This was an unusually clear and calm day. The sea stacks of the Orford Reef are visible on the horizon on the right. They appear very small because of the wide angle lens. The sun can also be seen kissing the horizon, since there were no thick off-shore fog banks to obstruct the horizon, as is normally the case.

Exif: F Number: 8, Exposure Bias Value: -0.67, ExposureTime: 10/2500 seconds, Flash: did not fire., ISO: 200, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 20.00 mm, Model: NIKON D700
