The Red Baron Pizza squadron flew these beautiful biplanes in air shows for over 28 years. I shot these planes in the museum located at the Schwann company (maker of the pizza) headquarters in Marshall, Minnesota about five months before the squadron was decommissioned in 2007. The lighting was dim and it was difficult to cut out the planes (one was hanging upside down from the ceiling. The pilot in my images is the same grandson wearing a costume from the Museum's pilot mockup.Kim Dietrich Elam February 12, 2010
