The computer issues are almost handled. Joan is going to help me get Topaz back.

We were almost dug out and now we are getting slammed again. We are having a blizzard and white out conditions. And all of you all ont the east coast are getting hit hard.

This was on top of our roof. Anyone for snow surfing??

This next one has halos from bluring the BG, because the siding seams were too clear. But I thought the face was interesting. #1237180

Ok got them backwards. This next one is Michael's truck. #8371289

Perfect wave is the perfect title for this interesting shot Ellen. Hope you are out of the drifts soon and find a sprig of green somewhere.

Enjoyed the snow face on the fencepost. That would make an interesting challenge. Finding faces in ordinary subjects. #8371650

Thanks Dale. The snow is so beautiful and there is so much of it the roads are in horrible shape. Getting anywhere is difficult so I have to find snowy things to photograph in my backyard. #8372141

Great titles and absolutely love the pristine quality of "The Wave"...I'm overdue for a road trip to Tahoe to see some snow here in Cali! #8372523

That is a lot of snow Ellen, and the Perfect Wave is a great depiction of how it forms with a bit of wind. I like the very clean look of this shot.

Stay off the roads a much as possible as I keep hearing of these terrific accidents and we want you safe. #8372874

WOW! What great shots Ellen. The wave is amazing, and the fence top as well. At first I thought it was on a chimeny and was somewhat confused about what was supporting it LOL! Heres hoping this is winters last blast for you. #8373858

The perfect wave and natures art work are both very cool indeed, I can't believe there is actually truck under that drift in the other post!

Actually Rita, we have been VERY fortunate during these last 2 storms. The first one last week passed to our south and we got absolutely nothing..the area weathermen around here are in the doghouse still over the storm yesterday. They were forecasting at least several inches as late as noon yesterday, but it never materialized. Part of the reason was because the temp was above freezing for at least a day prior to the storm and the snow melted when it hit the ground for the first several hours of precipitation. By the time the ground got cold enough for the snow to accumulate we only ended up with about 2-3 inches! But hey, I'm not complaining, just wish I could be wrong as much as meteorologists are and still have my job... #8375137

These are very cool shots! I love the wave. And I'd never would have believed there was a truck under that drift if it were not for the antenna sticking out of the snow. Wow! That's a lot of snow! Burrr #8375304

Thanks all.
Rita I am in the eastern part of West Virginia. 15 minutes to Virginia and 30 minutes to Maryland and about 1 1/2 hours to Washington DC.
Tony surprised you did not get some of this. But in this east coast area a gnat can sneeze and change what weather we are getting.

That covered truck took forever to dig out. I was standing on top of that mound to clean off the top of the truck when one of my legs broke thru the snow, I sunk up to my shoulders and left my other leg on top of the snow smashed up against my nose. So here I am stuck, really stuck and my wonderful husband can not pull me out because he is laughing too hard. Gotta love him #8375427

The big question is did he get pictures? #8375440
