Finger Dancing in the Dark

Description

Editor's Pick.
Husband, Bruce, on his homemade classical guitar was captured with one tiny reading spot on the back porch in the dark.
When I was in film photography, my former employer, Hal Gould, M.Photographer in Denver, used a gold toner on prints. It was stunning.

While this is very low key, I tried to create something like the gold toner. Success is in the eyes of the viewer. Comments would be appreciated.

I like this image of your husband Bruce, but I'm afraid to say that I don't know how to get a gold tone effect. Do you use Topaz? I have just started using it, so I don't know if there is a way to produce a gold tone in that software. #1288558

Hi Amanda, Thanks for your comment on Bruce. I don't have Topaz. Bruce just bought me Nik Color Efex Pro 3 Complete. That's enough for one year. But thanks for the suggestion.

Let me know after working with it for awhile how you like it.

Thanks again.
