Irish Eyes
Uploaded: January 20, 2010
Redbeckia from my garden. Most have a brown cone this one has green... thus the name Irish Eyes.
All work done in PSCS3. Removed background using magnetic lasso.
Used Topaz in several layers to bring out differing qualities in the flower. Painted background using many, many brushes, textures, blends and layers.
Sampled all the colors from the flower itself with the eye dropper and then using various blend modes. Cloned out imperfections in the flower. A bit of topaz simplify in the end and using a layer mask painted it into the areas I wanted it to effect.
Exif: F Number: 32, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/60 seconds, Flash: fired, compulsory flash mode, red-eye reduction mode, ISO: 320, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 135.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 30D
