I don't know what kind of snake this is, or where it was shot at, but it would sure scare me!

This is a garter snake, a non-venomous snake that was crawling in Newport News Park in Newport News, VA. I got down reallllllly close with my 100 Macro lens and the snake looked like it considered striking at the camera, but opted to turn and scurry away in the other direction. It's bite would not have been poisonous. I'm glad you enjoy my photo. #1527258
